Best Practices for Good Body Content
- Use several keywords and phrases in your first sentences, as well as throughout your body text.
- The content of your page should be broken up into subsections using subheading (H2 and H3) tags.
- Do not over stuff your content with keywords. This is a high quality signal of low quality content. All major search engines will shift traffic away from your site if you practice keyword stuffing.

No Keywords Found
If you get the error message that no keywords are found, you have not used any of your Active Keywords (navigate to Keyword Studio) in the content of the page.
There are two ways to solve this:
1. Navigate to Keyword Studio and add some of the key words and phrases from your page into your active keywords. Or,
2. Update your page content to include some of your Active Keywords.
Keyword Density
Keyword Density is the measure of how many times a keyword or a keyword phrase occurs on your page. Plug In SEO will flag issues where too few or too many keywords are being used. This is why you're seeing issues like these on your SEO Shop Scan:
- Critical: More Than 6 Uses Of A Keyword (Keyword Stuffing)
- Warning: 3- 6 Uses Of A Keyword (Keyword Stuffing)
- Body Content - Only One Keyword Mentioned
If you're following our best practices and using more than one keyword in the page, and using each keyword 1-3 times you'll be rewarded with a high S3O Score and more organic traffic.
