Step 1: Select your items

  1. Go to the Optimize section in Plug In AI.

Want to optimize more than what's visible on screen? Use the Select All button — it's the blue button in the bottom left of the page. Clicking it will select all items in your catalogue at once. If you've filtered the list by a specific issue, it will select all items matching that filter instead.

Step 2: Start bulk generation

  1. Click the Generate Bulk button at the top right of the page.

  2. Choose what to optimize: Titles, Descriptions, Meta tags, Image alt text.

  3. A modal window will appear with generation settings. Configure them based on what you're optimizing:

For Titles and Descriptions:

  • Choose the language

  • Select the tone of voice

  • Optionally add special instructions for the AI

For Meta Tags:

  • Toggle: Include CTA in meta content

  • Toggle: Generate meta title

  • Toggle: Generate meta description

  • Choose language and tone of voice

For Image Alt Text:

  • See the full guide: Generating Image Alt Text (Bulk) with AI

Click Start Bulk Generation.

You'll be redirected to the Optimize page with this message at the top: "You can review and save generated content after progress is finished." Wait for the process to complete.

If you want, you can also click on Cancel Bulk Progress.

Step 3: Review and publish

  1. When generation is complete, click Next Step: Review Generated Content.

  2. A modal will open showing the generated content for each item. Use the arrows to navigate between items.

  3. For each item, choose:

    • Discard — to remove the generated content

    • Save & Publish — to apply it to your live store

  4. After saving, click Done to refresh the page. Your published changes will appear.

Note: You may need to refresh the page or run a new SEO scan on the dashboard for changes to appear properly after saving.
