How to Fix Body Keyword Issues in Plug In SEO
There are two common issues found by our app associated with Keywords in the body text:
- Body Text - Keyword Not Found - CRITICAL
- Body Text - Only One Keyword Mentioned - Warning
As the error suggests, these issues are cause by the content in the body of your page not containing enough keywords. There are two methods to fix these common issues:
The correct method for you depends on your keyword strategy. We recommend you read both suggestions and then pick the one that is right for you, or use a combination of both.
- Method 1: Update the Content
- What to do: Open the page where the issue is located and read through the body text. Ask yourself if the content is clear, concise, and provides all the necessary information that a typical user is going to be searching for.
-
- If the answer is, no then you should update your content and use several keywords from your list of Active Keywords (see Keyword Studio). If the answer is yes, then go to Method 2.
- Method 2: Update the Keywords
- Take 2 - 3 of the key words and phrases from your content and add them to your list of keywords in the Keyword Studio. Add the keywords by going to Keyword Studio > Expert Mode
Recheck the page
After you've made the changes using method 1 and/or method 2, recheck the page.
Plug in SEO app will then check that you have at least two keywords included in all of the important places for SEO on the page title, meta description, image alt tags, heading, subheadings, and body text
Long Tail Keywords
Adding long tail keywords (keywords that have 3 or more words) is so important for your SEO strategy.
Long tail keywords are longer and more specific phrases that visitors are more likely to use when they're closer to a point of purchase or when they're using voice search.
These keywords are highly valuable because they typically have lower competition and higher conversion rates.
In other words, they allow you to attract more qualified traffic and stand out in the crowded online marketplace.
So, if you want to improve your website's visibility and drive more relevant traffic, don't underestimate the power of long-tail keywords in your content and SEO efforts.
