Getting Started with Plug In AI

Dashboard and Navigation Overview

After installing Plug In AI on your Shopify store, you’ll be taken to the Optimize page. This is your main dashboard for improving your store’s content.

Navigating the App

  • In the top-left navigation box, you can switch between your Products, Collections, Pages, Blogs, and Blog Posts.

  • Just below the navigation box, you’ll find a helpful Instructions panel to guide you through the basics.

  • On the left sidebar (where your Shopify apps are listed), you'll see sub-pages under Plug In AI, including:

    • Optimize (main content editing area)

    • Preferences (to set your content language)

    • Plans (to manage or upgrade your subscription)

Understanding the Status Dots

Each item in your content list is marked with a colored dot to indicate its current optimization status:

  • 🟥 Red dot – Needs major improvement

  • 🟨 Yellow dot – Content is okay but can be improved

  • 🟩 Green dot – Content is optimized and requires no action

Use the Edit button on the right-hand side to fix issues using Plug In AI’s content generation tools.

Your Plan Details

Your current plan details are displayed in the third panel on the left side. You can start with the free plan, which includes:

  • Up to 5,000 words of content generation

  • Optimization for 5 limited resources
